The London Association covers the Greater London area approximately bounded by the M25, any Pétanque clubs within that area are very welcome to join.
Currently there are three clubs:- Croydon, Harrow and Kingston-upon-Thames, (look at location for details) though we know of others.
The problem being that Pétanque was traditionally played at public houses, but landlords found that they can generate more income from beer gardens, play areas for children and car parks than they can from Pétanque so over the years several clubs have ceased to exist.
The Kingston-upon-Thames club is a recent exception where the landlord has recently created a piste and a club has been formed.
